Singer-songwriter Aron Afshar has been making waves with modern pop music infused with traditional Arabic elements. The 24-year-old performer recently dominated the airwaves with his hits, “Tabibe Maher,” “Janam Bash,” “Shabe Royaei,” and “Giso Parishan.” His most recent hit, “Atre Bahr,” has already amassed millions of views online.

Aron Afshar, born of Khorasanian descent, emerged from Shandiz City in Mashhad, Iran. His music mixes western pop, folk, and traditional Arab elements. Some of his contemporary tracks contain EDM influences, thus appealing to mostly young listeners in Iran, Turkey, UAE, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. In 2019, Afshar released his debut single, “Tarkam Kardi.” The electronic pop track became his landmark song and helped him gain a following. The first single was followed by critically acclaimed songs, such as “Janam Bash,” “Shane Royaei,” “Giso Parishnan,” and more. In 2021, Afshar dropped his compilation album, The Best of Aron Afshar, Vol.1. The highly-regarded album features 14 of Afshar’s best works.

Babak Jahanbakhsh joins Afshar on this much-anticipated show. The German-born Iranian singer-songwriter, who emerged in 2005, has released beloved tracks, such as “Mano Negah Kon,” “Toh Mano Key Kohsti,” “To Ke Hassasi,” and more.
