Exciting news for all dance enthusiasts! The highly anticipated Ballet BC: Program 3, the final show of the season, opens at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre for a three-night run starting Thursday 10th May 2018! Set to music by Handel, choreographer Cayetano Soto takes us to the grey area between truth vs. individual reality with the compelling, spine-tingling “Beginning After.” The middle of the show features “New Work,” by Ballet BC’s Artistic Director Emily Molnar. With Peteris Vasks’ atmospheric score Plainscapes, Molnar’s piece is a complex work that pushes the boundaries of contemporary dance. Finally, it’s “Bill,” the work of Former Resident Choreographer of the Batsheva Dance Company and current Artistic Director of her own company, L.E.V, Sharon Eyal, who together with Gai Behar created a remarkable flowing work exploring the concept of the individual against the many.
