Raitt has won ten Grammys and one Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. Rolling Stone magazine named her the 50th greatest singer of all time and included her among the top 100 guitarists of all time. Graeme Connors, an Australian country music artist, has said of Bonnie Raitt, "She bends and twists a lyric right into your heart." Raitt entered the Hall of Fame in the year 2000. The Billboard Women in Music Awards honored her as an icon by bestowing that honor upon her.
