Chris Botti is a Grammy Award-winning trumpeter, and his talents have earned him over four million album sales. Born on October 12th, 1962, in Portland, Oregon, he was raised in Corvallis, Oregon. He started playing the trumpet at the tender age of nine and perfected his craft so well that he managed to shake up Jazz music in his own special way.

In 1985, he moved to New York to work on his music as a session musician. His awesome talents quickly allowed him to become a sought after artist, playing with greats such as Frank Sinatra, Buddy Rich, Natalie Cole, Bette Midler, and Aretha Franklin, just to name a few.

In 1995, he released his debut album, “First Wish,” which was followed up by 1997's “Midnight Without You” and then, in 1999, his third effort, “Slowing Down The World.” Notable contributions on the aforesaid albums came from Paul Buchanan, Johnatha Brooke, and Sting. In 1999, Botti's career found new heights when he was invited by Sting to go on the “Brand New Day” trek.

Hot of the tour, Botti released Night Sessions in 2001 and established himself as one of the most versatile musicians in pop and jazz music. Four of his six albums produced after that, “When I Fall in Love,” “To Love Again: The Duets,” "Italia,” and “Impressions,” all managed to make it to the number one spot on the Billboard Jazz Album Chart. Botti received five Grammy nominations and a win for the Best Pop Instrumental Album for his work on "Impressions," released in 2012.

Chris has clearly invested a great deal of time in honing his skills, as evidenced by the legendary status of his live performances and this time will be no different. His concerts are always sold out because of his innate talent for bringing people together through his music and his magnetic personality. Given his extensive list of accomplishments, no true fan would dare miss a Chris Botti concert when it comes through town, so tickets will go quickly.
