Forever Yaadein at Queen Elizabeth Theatre

Forever Yaadein is the ultimate Bollywood musical concert that features the most in-demand singers in the Indian music industry. The sensational group is coming together for the first time to deliver an evening of exceptional artistry with hits that touched the hearts of listeners across the decades.

Leading the concert is Jolly Mukherjee, more famously known as India's "King of Strings.” Mukherjee’s musical roots run deep with a diverse blend of Hindustani classical music and Western influences. The artist is mostly renowned for his collaborations with the Madras Cinematic Orchestra where he seamlessly merges traditional and contemporary elements in his compositions.

Another icon joining the group is Sudesh Bhosle, a popular playback singer and mimicry artist who is part of the International Artist Melody Makers, India's no. 1 premier live orchestra. Bhosle served as a previous judge on K for Kishore, a singing contest on Sony Entertainment Television and has been awarded the Mother Teresa Millennium Award for his contribution to music.

Similarly, Suresh Wadkar is also a playback singer, recognized for his groundbreaking acting in both Hindi and Marathi films. To top this off, Wadkar was recently awarded a Sangeet Natak Akademi Award last 2018.

Sadhana Sargam and Usha Uthup, two women in the concert lineup, are known for their playback careers as well. Sargam is a recipient of various national film awards over the years with more of her popular Hindi and South Indian songs coming from the ‘90s.

Meanwhile, Uthup, even though she was not formally trained in music, she grew up in an atmosphere of music, eventually leading to her releasing sure-fire hits during the late ‘60s.
