Are you an avid fan of Aladdin? Fancy a quality theatre show over an evening out? If so, there’s probably no place you’d rather be on Saturday 29th July 2023 than the world famous Queen Elizabeth Theatre. On that Saturday, Aladdin the Musical is coming to Vancouver in what’s expected to be one of the most exciting theatre events in British Columbia in the entire 2023. An awesome acting crew, lead by a fantastic director, promise a memorable experience for all the passionate theatre-goers out there. What makes a show special? The Disney Theatrical Group of course! This time around they applied all that unique Disney magic all over Aladdin just for you and whilst the animated film is brilliant to see, the production is on another level. With a staggering 84 special effects including a flying magic carpet and 8,644 Swarovski Crystals in a single costume, this will musical will be a feast for the senses.
Aladdin is a likeable character in the musical. Grown up in the difficult streets, Aladdin meets Princess Jasmine, the daughter of the Sultan of Agrabah. While visiting her the Princess’ exotic palace, Aladdin upon the direction of Jafar, an evil villain finds a magical oil lamp that unleashes a very wise cracking genie.
Unlike many of the other productions, Aladdin has a wonderful message that is delivered it in the most pretty way, we should not try to be something that we are not and nor should we be satisfied with what others think we should be and that is why Aladdin has such a big fan base 10 million member audiences to be precise.
